Advantage Gripware uses only the best fabrics available in the manufacture of its products. Where possible, we use fabrics that are "Inherently Flame Retardant", "Self Extinguishing", or have been treated with a chemical process to make them "Flame Retardant."  Some materials, due to industry artistic demands are not treated. Please check Fabric Specifications.

It is important to understand that chemicals used to flame retard fabrics lose those properties when exposed to damp or wet conditions!

Since there is no visible way to determine the extent of flame retardation of any fabric, we strongly urge that extreme caution be taken with all fabrics in the potentially dangerous environment of a motion picture, television or still photographic set!

Many Inherently flame retardant or self extinguishing fabrics will melt when subjected to a flame. This liquid remains hot enough to cause extremely serious burns long after flame is extinguished!
